The play-offs for a slot in the MTC Namibia Netball Premier League for the next season will be held in Windhoek on 25 November, Netball Namibia announced yesterday.

In the play-offs are the Unam Jaguars (Khomas), United12 NC (//Kharas), Harambee NC (Hardap), Okahandja NC (Otjozondjupa), Blue Waters NC (Erongo), Ministry of Safety and Security (Omaheke), Tsumeb A NC (Oshikoto), Eastern Chiefs NC (Kavango East), Ogongo Unam NC (Omusati) and Extreme NC (Oshana).

The clubs were invited to the play-off battle “by virtue of their standing in their respective regional leagues”, Netball Namibia secretary general Isack Hamata said in a statement.

“As the date approaches, we wish you and your teams all the best in your preparations. May the play-offs be a testament to the passion and skill that characterise netball in Namibia,” said Hamata.

“We understand the importance of timely information for your preparations, and we assure you that all other arrangements, including the exact venue, will be communicated to you before the end of this week,” Hamata said.

“On behalf of the board of Netball Namibia, I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your patience and understanding during this process. Your cooperation and commitment to the growth of netball in your region are invaluable, and we are confident that together, we can make this event a resounding success.

“We look forward to seeing you and your teams in Windhoek for this exciting event,” Hamata said.
